J Monday Hair was founded by Josy — a German-Ghanaian entrepreneur who grew up loving beauty, experimenting with hairstyles, hair colours, and the art of transforming a look with intention. The name “Monday” honours her mother and grandmother, both born on a Monday, a cultural tradition in Ghana where day-names carry meaning, identity, and lineage. JMH is an extension of that legacy: strength, womanhood, beauty, and becoming. Coming from a tech and customer-experience background, Josy built JMH with the precision of an operator and the eye of a beauty lover. She created the brand she wished existed — premium hair that respects your routine, your time, and your personal style. Today, she continues to lead JMH with intention, transparency, and a commitment to helping women feel confident, seen, and celebrated.
